How to See Who Views Your Last Access on WhatsApp

Preliminary Information

Before I explain how to see who views your last access on WhatsApp, I need to provide some preliminary information related to this possibility.

You should know that, as mentioned, there is no tool on WhatsApp that allows you to know the exact names of those who check the last access and online status of another user.

The only thing you can do, therefore, is choose who can see your last access and assume who among these has actually used this option recently.

To help you with this task, you can also check the last access of “suspects” or view their Status to see if they have recently connected to the app.

How about that? Did this imperfect solution convince you? Then let’s not waste any more time and see how to implement it.

How to Discover Who Views Your Last Access on WhatsApp

Having set the initial terms, let’s see together how to adjust the privacy settings on WhatsApp regarding the visibility of your last access and online status to other users.

To do this, you can use the WhatsApp app for Android or iOS. Alternatively, you can proceed from a computer.

Android/iOS

To proceed from Android and iPhone, open WhatsApp to navigate to the main screen. Then, on Android, tap on the menu icon (⋮) in the upper right corner and select Settings. On iPhone, tap directly on Settings at the bottom menu.

Now, in the screen you see, tap on Privacy, then tap on Last Access and Online, and finally, choose the option you prefer regarding who you want to view your last access on WhatsApp.

You can choose to allow your last access information to be seen by your contacts (My Contacts), all contacts except a few (My Contacts Except), Everyone, or No One. After setting your preferred option, it will be automatically activated.

In your case, I suggest you choose My Contacts to restrict the number of people who can know when you are online on WhatsApp or when you last connected.

Keep in mind that by disabling the ability for everyone to see this information, you would lose it too, as this setting requires a mutual relationship. Additionally, you can also limit your online status by selecting Same as Last Access to maintain the same privacy settings as your last access.

Finally, you can always check the Updates section of WhatsApp to see the Status of those who have recently published multimedia content, as well as verify the last access of the “suspects”: This information appears at the top after opening the chat with them.

This way, you can further evaluate who among your contacts has recently connected to the app and could have “snooped” on your last access.

PC

You can also see your last access from a computer. However, using the desktop version for Windows won’t allow you to change your settings.

After logging into WhatsApp via QR code, navigate to the Settings section by tapping on the gear icon and selecting Privacy > Last Access and Online, then setup for My Contacts and Same as Last Access.

After this, simply check the Status of WhatsApp and the last access of contacts of interest to know who has connected recently by publishing multimedia content.
